Lisa Grant, MBA, PMP

Lisa Grant is a large-program manager who consults to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies in the establishment and operations of Program Management Offices. Ms. Grant has over 18 years of Information Technology experience including full life-cycle application development (SDLC), software implementations, e-learning product launches, Program Management Office creation, Business Process Mapping, business consulting, and instructor-led training. She has extensive organizational level experience managing portfolios, programs and projects in various industries and functions: Healthcare, e-Learning, Automotive, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, Payroll, Textile, Beverage and government verticals.

Most recently, Ms. Grant was a Business Consultant and Project Director with CD Group, Inc., where she managed technology projects, performed project audits, and designed new operations and processes to reduce client costs. As a Director with iXL, she built and managed an HR portal implementation team, established Project Management Office policies/procedures, and developed PM training programs.

Previously, Ms. Grant was a Product Manager for PMSI/Provant (a project management firm), where she successfully built a new e-Learning business unit, founded an e-Learning product line extension, and created operations strategy, policies, and marketing for the e-Learning product line. Ms. Grant also has managed the development of over 500 online lessons for J.D. Edwards ERP software and various other multimedia development projects.

Ms. Grant's IT experience and skills include mainframe and midrange application development, office & business analytical tools, management & project management, and systems development life cycle methodologies. Her consulting experiences and skills include business savvy, project management, process mapping, business-to-employee (B2E), e-Learning, inventory management, team management, and facilitation.

Ms. Grant is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She received her MBA from Georgia State University and her BS in Computer Science from the State University of New York College of Technology. She is an active member of the Project Management Institute serving on exam writing committees and acting as the Education Program Manager of the Atlanta Chapter Certification and Education committee. Other certifications include MS Project Orange Belt certification and OPM3 training.

 

Dr. Kim Magee

Dr. Magee has over 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resource Development and Human Resource Management. She is currently a Director of Human Resources in a major consumer goods company. She also has experience in the high-tech and public education sectors.

Kim attended The Ohio State University and received a BS degree in Secondary Education. She earned a M.Ed. in Secondary Education from The University of Kentucky. In 2002, Kim completed a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies (AYSPS) at Georgia State University. Kim’s dissertation, “The Impact of Organizational Culture on the Implementation of Performance Management,” was selected as a finalist for the ASTD Dissertation of the Year Award. In 2003, Kim received the AYSPS award for Distinguished Contribution to HRD Research. 

Kim serves on the President’s Council at Georgia State University and is an instructor in the MBA program there.
